Heartland League West Season Preview

Heartland League East Season Preview

With another off-season behind us and spring baseball well underway, it’s that time of year again for preseason predictions and previews. Today, we’ll be taking a look at the realigned Heartland League West Division.

The HL West Division will crown a new champion this year, I’m sure of it. That’s because defending champion Frisco moved to Minneapolis, and into the Frontier League. Defending Champion Vallejo and Austin remain in the division, joined by Montreal and Richardson City.

Last Season’s Records:
Vallejo 65-55
Austin 63-58
Montreal 60-60
Richardson City 51-69

    Fantastic read, Erik!

I think in this division, Austin and Vallejo will be neck and neck. But right now, I will give an edge to Vallejo. I like the fact that they solidified their rotation with Gio and Lee. Although, AUS did the same thing.

On the flip side, I can also see RC sneaking into the playoffs this year by WC. Definitely a division to watch this year.

Yeah I think injuries will play a major part in the division. Might come down to whoever makes a big deadline trade too. Thanks though!

Great stuff Erik! The West should be a really fun race this year. Best of luck to you in your new division.
