NASHVILLE — The Nashville Outlaws have replaced their former General Manager with a relative unknown in Scott Entsminger. Laurence Baer called a press conference to discuss the change. “Even though Scott is an unknown to the league, we believe that he possesses exactly what this organization needs. After 10 minutes of talking with Scott, I knew he was the guy. His passion for the sport is amazing and I am excited to see how quickly he can turn our team around.”
Joe Girardi added “I’m eager to get into the office and pick Scott’s brain on his vision for the team. Hopefully his ideas will lead this team to the top.”
Scott has his work cut out for him, but the Outlaws believe he is their guy. When asked about the current state of the team, Scott seemed ecstatic. “We are currently at the bottom of the division, but upon my initial look of the team, we have pieces that could propel this team to the top. Hopefully with some key acquisitions we may be in contention by the end of the 2018 season.” Scott also went on to mention that he expects the rebuilding process to begin immediately after analyzing the team. Even though it wasn’t specifically mentioned, one might assumed that any player on the roster isn’t safe. We expect to see some potential big deals done before the trade deadline
The Outlaws at the time of Scott’s signing were 11-22. 4th place in the Frontier League East division. Only time will tell if this move will pay off, but this is the perfect team for someone with a limited background to create something special.
