Minutemen move to Portland

After weeks of speculation Boston Minutemen GM Phil Doyle was able to confirm that League Commissioner Tim has signed the consent forms for the Minutemen to move from Boston to the City of Portland and would become the Portland Panthers.

GM Doyle said “I am grateful to League Commish Tim for approving the move, this is an exciting time for the ball club and we are looking forward to giving the people of Portland a ball club to be proud off.”

Doyle went on “We must thank Boston for their superb support over the year we have been here, but the draw of moving to a new purpose built stadium in Portland”

The GM also launched a new logo and uniforms and stated that he hoped this would lead to a fresh start for the ball club and its’ players. “Sometimes some players need a change of scenery, hopefully this gives the that without the need for a trade!” “We chose the Panthers as we hope it will symbolise a stealthy ball club that is able to pounce on any chances given!”

Doyle stated that the team would be moving immediately and the team were looking forward to the Portland Winter!

Very nice logo, Phil! Reminds me of the Surf Dawgs logo with a shade of orange. Good luck in Portland!
