| Seawolves Drop Grizzlies, 3-1 | Erie rode a good effort from starter Chris Rehkop to beat the Vancouver Grizzlies at Nat Bailey Stadium. The final score was 3-1. Desi Chipps, now 1-5, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 0. The win puts Erie at 14-29.
Erie used the timely hitting of Pacho Herrera to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Seawolves on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Tough loss," said Vancouver manager Aneury Rodriguez. "But we'll learn from it."
