| Grizzlies Lose, 6-2 | The Nashville Outlaws topped the Vancouver Grizzlies, 6-2, in Frontier League action at Nat Bailey Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Nashville shortstop Adrián Valdéz. Walt Olenik, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 6 hits, while walking 5 and striking out 3. His record now stands at 1-0. The defeat makes Vancouver 14-13.
Tony Chapa, the fan favorite , had a direct impact on the outcome. Chapa contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the second inning to put Nashville up, 3-2.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Chapa said.
