| Blues Lose By a Run at Manchester, 5-4 | The Manchester Marauders picked up a win at Bartlett Park, knocking off the Memphis Blues, 5-4. Starting pitcher Reggie Barickman was a big reason why. Beau Berkowitz, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 5th save. The Blues, now 5-11, continue their sluggish start.
Roy Hobbs, who finished 3rd in the HL in hits with 190 in 2048, chipped in for Manchester with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"It was a solid team effort," said Barickman after the game.
