Millers Suffer 2-0 Setback | The Outlaws faced a stiff challenge from Minneapolis pitcher Joe Busam, but persevered to claim a win at Paul Bunyan Stadium. The final score was 2-0. Busam went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. The Outlaws, now 1-10, have not found much traction so far in 2051.
Nashville used a clutch hit from Joe Graner to get the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Outlaws ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Graner said. | | | | |
