| Raucous Bartlett Park Crowd Propels Marauders to 7-0 Victory; Series Tied at 3 | The Manchester Marauders and the Milwaukee Milkmen will take the CBL Premier Cup to a decisive 7th game. Facing a must-win situation today, the Marauders shut out the Milkmen 7-0 at Bartlett Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Manchester left-hander Loren Barnes did his part. He threw 5.0 innings of shutout ball.
Héctor Ramos took Jeremy Detamore deep in the bottom of the second. His 2-run home run put the Marauders on top, 2-0. In all, Ramos had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Milwaukee manager Ramon Borrego.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Bartlett Park in Cambridge.
