| Liberty Take Down Marauders, 3-2 | The Liberty grabbed a win, 3-2, at Roughnecks Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Manchester pitcher Ed Gotto. Gotto went 5.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. Philadelphia reliever José Salinas picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Joe Van Ness absorbed the loss. With the win, Philadelphia boosts its record to 2-6.
The Liberty procured the win, in large part because of shortstop Marcelo Bielsa. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.
