| Knights Subdue San Diego, 3-1 | The Charlotte Knights got a good effort from starter Johnny Sinclair in defeating the San Diego Surf Dawgs at Petco Park. The final score was 3-1. José López recorded the save for Charlotte, his 8th of the season. The Knights sport a record of 56-103.
Charlotte relied on the bat of Raúl Rodríguez to get the win. The shortstop ripped a solo home run in the top of the first inning to put the Knights ahead, 1-0. For the game, Rodríguez had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
