Millers Drop Grizzlies, 7-6 | Minneapolis second baseman Elijah Tatis picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Vancouver Grizzlies, 7-6. The second-place Millers have won 4 consecutive games.
Minneapolis used a clutch hit from Neritan Murati to get the win. The designated hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Millers ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," Murati told the Minneapolis Gazette. | | | | |
