Generals SS Kozlosky 3-3 in Win | Mitch Kozlosky was a major contributor to the 7-5 Washington win over Minneapolis. The Generals shortstop went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. Dan Ausloos picked up the win, improving his season record to 7-4. He struck out 3 in 5 innings. Lazlo Stromain got the save, his 3rd in 6 chances.
Washington grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Kozlosky, who finished 3rd in the HL in stolen bases with 30 last year, hit a 2-run double. His 29th double of the season put the Generals out in front, 6-4.
"I'm glad we can make our fans happy with a win," Kozlosky told the Washington Times.
