| Milkmen Top Philadelphia, 4-3 | Milwaukee designated hitter Manny García helped his team beat the Philadelphia Liberty, 4-3. García, who led the FL in slugging percentage with .589 in 2042, went 1 for 3 for the Milkmen. Danny Yeary, credited with the save, is now 10 for 13 in save opportunities. The win elevated the Milkmen to 59-54.
García contributed when he hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth. Coming with no outs and the bases loaded, the sacrifice fly proved to be critical to helping Milwaukee get the win.
"It's a good day to be a fan after a win like that," García told the Milwaukee Today.
