Extra-Inning Win by Outlaws Over Milkmen | The Nashville Outlaws and Milwaukee Milkmen put on quite a show.
In a low-scoring game between the Nashville Outlaws and the Milwaukee Milkmen, pitcher Jeff Keniston was masterful on the mound. The Nashville right-hander spearheaded his team's 2-1 win. Nashville reliever Juan Vargaz picked up the win to move to 5-10. Sergio Marino suffered the loss. Jeremy Waiden recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 4 for 6.
Nashville needed the clutch hitting of Frank Gallagher to notch the win. The left fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the 13th inning to put the Outlaws on top, 2-1. For the game, Gallagher had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"Our guys refused to lose," said Keniston.
The 'W' lifts Nashville's record to 42-55. | | | | |
