Dreamers Stymie Charlotte, Take 5-1 Win | California Dreamers pitcher Sílvio Olival was in fine form, leading his team past the Charlotte Knights, 5-1. Sidd Finch came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. The 6th-place Dreamers now have a win-loss record of 33-41.
Had Pat Jamrog not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Jamrog hit a 2-run single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Dreamers.
"I had everything working," said Olival. | | | | |
