2021 CBL Mock Draft

Jeremy AdamsRound 1, Pick 19 (Vancouver Canadians): SP Jeremy Adams (Torrance High School)

The 17-year-old right hander will never be a top of the rotation pitcher, but more of a number 4 or 5. A three pitch combo, featuring a fastball, splitter and circle change, none of which are elite, he relies on his control to get batters out, but he does have a tendency to give up fly balls, which leads to a good number of home runs.

At his very best, he compares to Ben O’Farrell, who has yet to make his CBL debut at age 23. Adams could really turn out to be anything, but looks like he may just be a career minor leaguer.

Fastball: 55 | Splitter: 55 | Circle-Change: 55 | Control: 60 | Overall: 55

Nice write-up. You are right, that’s the kind of player I’d target. 🙂

If Wolfe went to Tucson like you predicted then I would have ended picking Bo Allen. I felt as though they are very similar pitchers but Wolfe has more potential upside…Anyways excellent article!
