2021 CBL Mock Draft

Kevin McKenzieRound 1, Pick 15 (Austin Bats): CF Kevin McKenzie (Cal Poly University)

This is one of those safe picks that could blossom into a superstar. A college centerfielder, 3-year starter, who has done well, without dominating (.257 career average) but he’s seem as a solid backup in the CBL, who can fill in at any of the outfield spots, and will be a good enough bat to contribute if he has to fill in for a long period of time.

If he blossoms, he could become similar to a David Dahl. If not he compares to a Colin Bray, but a slightly better bat. Either way he’s a safe bet to be a CBL player, and his makeup is seen as someone who will work to become the best.

Hit: 55 | Power: 50 | Run: 70 | Arm: 55 | Field: 60| Overall: 55

Nice write-up. You are right, that’s the kind of player I’d target. 🙂

If Wolfe went to Tucson like you predicted then I would have ended picking Bo Allen. I felt as though they are very similar pitchers but Wolfe has more potential upside…Anyways excellent article!
