2021 CBL Mock Draft

Bob LeeRound 1, Pick 11 (Nashville Outlaws): 1B Bob Lee (Hartford High School)

A 6’5″ 210 lb. giant of a 17-year-old, Lee has absolutely raw power potential. He is seen by most scouts as a bat you put in the four spot, and hope he hits it and hits it out. He will put the ball in play better than most with his power potential, but he is apt to strikeout now and then, and he is a liability in the field and on the base paths.

Very similar to Joey Gallo, without the ability in the field. Both hit at a better rate than others with their power levels, but are apt to strikeout as well. Another possible comparison is Gunnar McNeill, a 26-year-old with only 21 days of service time. Which comparison is more accurate we will find out, but his right handed bat fits in well with left handed happy Nashville.

Hit: 55 | Power: 75 | Run: 20 | Arm: 20 | Field: 20| Overall: 60

Nice write-up. You are right, that’s the kind of player I’d target. 🙂

If Wolfe went to Tucson like you predicted then I would have ended picking Bo Allen. I felt as though they are very similar pitchers but Wolfe has more potential upside…Anyways excellent article!
